Looks like Oppo planning for a successor to its Reno4 series with the new Oppo Reno5 series soon. Previously we got various reports suggesting that Oppo might launch the Oppo Reno5 next by this month or early December. Now we have probably spotted the Oppo Reno5 series devices passing through TENAA.
According to the source, the alleged Oppo Reno5 series comes in two model number with PEGM00 and PEGT00. The source expects that both model numbers are for the same variant but with different storage. The alleged Oppo Reno5 measures 159.1×73.4×7.9mm which is again slimmer than expected. The device looks almost similar to Oppo Reno4 with a similar quad-camera arrangement on the back.
The listing reveals that Oppo Reno5 sports 6.43 inches but the tipster reveals that it will sport OLED panel with 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rates. The new Oppo Reno5 might be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC as it comes with 2.4GHz CPU. It is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
The alleged Oppo Reno5 features quad-rear cameras with 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and dual 2MP depth plus macro sensor. It features a 32MP selfie shooter.
All this is packed by 4300 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11 on top. Apart from this nothing much about the alleged Oppo Reno5 is revealed.
