Samsung announced the much innovative foldable phone with Galaxy Z Fold2 this year which was even stronger than the predecessor. Later we even got various reports revealing that Galaxy Z Fold 3 might become the first foldable to feature under-display camera tech. Now we have some new reports coming in from South Korea that reveals some more features of the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
As per the source, the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 will arrive with thicker UTG next year. Not just that, Samsung is also using the new AES (Active Electrostatic Solution) digitizer tech on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 to get the S-Pen support. Yes, Samsung is finally cutting the exclusive S-Pen feature from Note series next year and will make its debut with Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The thicker UTG glass will help to withstand the pressure of the tip of the S-Pen. Previously we even had various leaks suggesting Galaxy Z Fold 2 to come with S-Pen support that never happened. For the first time, Samsung will use new AES digitizer instead of EMR which can be seen on Galaxy Note series.
The reason behind using AES is simple as the device comes with the foldable screen it’s hard to use the EMR tech which doesn’t support such form factor. With AES tech will increase the production cost of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and indirectly making it more premium than the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
