LG has finally launched its top-end LG WING and budget flagship LG Velvet 4G in India today. Both the devices will be going on sale through all leading retail outlets across India. The new LG WING will go on sale from Nov 9 whereas the LG Velvet from Oct 30 in India.

The new LG WING is the world’s first phone with new Swivelling dual displays. The new LG WING measures 10.9 mm thick and weighs around 250g. The new LG WING sports 6.8″ Flawless FHD+ POLED FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 21:9 swivel up we can see the secondary 3.9″ GOLED Second Screen with 1:1.15 aspect ratio. The Swivel mode will unlock features like the Gimbal Motion Camera, Dual Recording, and more.

The Swivel mode is made possible with a durable hinge that has undergone 2,00,000 durability test and also features water-repellent coating along with Anti-Dust tech on the second screen. Swivel up for even more functions. The gimbal mode is more than a video stabilizer with the Second Screen – it looks, and acts exactly like a gimbal. And, scroll through your gallery with the carousel on one screen and the full-sized photos on another.

With new Swivel mode, one can multi-task to the next level with both the screen can function separately without any issue. The new LG WING will also get dedicated Gimbal Motion Camera that allows videography to next level. The device can also take both selfie and rear camera at once with the new Dual recording feature.

The new LG WING is indeed powered by the same SD765G SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. The device comes with triple rear cameras with 64MP main sensor, 13MP ultra-wide and 12MP Ultra-wide Gimbal Motion camera with LED flash.

There is a 32MP pop-up selfie camera to give the full-screen experience. The new LG WING comes with in-display fingerprint scanner support. The connectivity options include Single/Dual SIM with 5G support, 4G LTE and VoLTE, Wifi-6, Bluetooth 5.1, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, NFC support. The device comes with MIL-STD-810G certified.

All this packed by 4000 mAh battery and runs on Android 10 with LG UI on top. The new LG WING will arrive in two colours with Aurora Gray and Illusion White. The new LG WING with 8GB+128GB cost Rs.69,990/- in India.

LG Velvet:

LG Velvet will arrive with a larger 6.8 inches FHD+ FullView OLED Display with an aspect ratio of 20.5:9. It again uses the same waterdrop notch with thinner bezels. Above the display, there is earpiece which also doubles up as stereo speaker than comes with AI Sound support. The new AI Sound automatically balances the sound volume based on content used like gaming, playing video or listening to music.

LG Velvet

The LG Velvet will arrive with 48MP main sensor using pixel binning tech coupled with 8MP Ultra-wide angle lens and 5MP depth sensor with LED flash. It also gets new ASMR tech which combines two mics to record vivid sound. The LG Velvet ships with SD845 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The new LG Velvet weighs 180g.

All this is packed by 4300 mAh battery with 18W fast wired and wireless charging support. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C port, in-display fingerprint scanner, 3.5 mm audio jack and Bluetooth 5.0 support. It also comes with an IP68 rating making it dust and water-resistant along with MILSTD 810G standards.

The new LG Velvet measures 7.9 mm thick and arrives in Aurora Gray, Aurora White, Aurora Green, and Illusion Sunset colours. The new LG Velvet comes with a price tag of Rs.36,990/- for Single screen and dual-screen at Rs.49,990/- in India. Currently, the LG Velvet is on pre-orders and the sale date is still not known.
