After a series of leaks, Samsung officially announces the mid-range tablet aka Galaxy Tab A7 along with Galaxy Fit2. The new Galaxy Tab A7 will come in Dark Gray, Silver and Gold colours. Further, Samsung also unveiled the budget fitness tracker Galaxy Fit2 with Colour OLED display.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7:
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 is a budget-friendly tablet from Samsung and looks similar to its predecessor. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 is basically for more media consumption. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 weighs 476g for Wifi only and 477g for the LTE model. It is made out of metal unibody and looks premium.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 sports 10.4 inches TFT LCD WUXGA+ (2000*1200p) display with an aspect ratio of 16:10. It is powered by SD662 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options which can be expanded via microSD cards up to 400GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 features an 8MP rear camera with AF, LED flash and 5MP selfie shooter. It can shoot videos up to FHD. The connectivity option includes 4G LTE Cat6 (4G model), Dual-band Wifi only, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm audio port and USB Type-C port.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 features four stereo speakers comes with Dolby Atmos support. The device is running on Android 10 with One UI 2.5 on top and is fueled with 7040 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 with 3GB+32GB Wifi only cost €229 (Rs.19,900/-) and 4G variant at €289 (Rs.25,000/-) in Europe. It will go on sale from the end of this month.
Samsung Galaxy Fit2:
Samsung also introduced its successor to last year launched fitness tracker Galaxy Fit with Galaxy Fit2 today. The new Galaxy Fit2 looks similar to original but comes with 3D glass curved display this time. It will be available in multiple colour plastic straps.
The Galaxy Fit2 sports 1.1-inch full-colour AMOLED screen with 450 nits of brightness. It is powered by the Cortex M33F SoC with 2MB RAM and 32MB storage. The Galaxy Fit2 comes with an option to respond to the notification directly from the band along with other features like automatic motion detection, sleep analysis and heart rate tracking.
The Galaxy Fit comes with a larger 159 mAh battery that lasts for 15 days on a single charge. It weighs 21 grams and comes with MIL-STD-810G durability and Bluetooth 5.0 support.
The Galaxy Fit2 runs on custom OS with Realtime OS out of the box. It also gets a bunch of sensors like Gyroscope, Photoplethysmography, and Accelerometer. The device is also dust and water-resistant as it comes with 5ATM + IP68 water resistance. The Galaxy Fit2 is priced at 49.99 Euro (Rs.4,400/-) in Europe and will go on sale from next month.
