Google annual event is here and we have some new IoT devices too launched along with Pixel 5 & Pixel 4a 5G. So Google has finally announced the new Chromecast With Google TV and Nest Audio in the US. Goolge might soon bring the new Chromecast With Google TV and Nest Audio in India next month.
Chromecast With Google TV:
The new Google Chromecast with Google TV is nothing but HDMI dongle which will make any TV an Smart TV with Android TV OS. It arrives in three colours with Snow, Sky and Sunrise.
This device will make your display or TV full-fledged Android TV experience as it comes with Google Play Store support too apart from just streaming the content. It connects to the TV through HDMI port and the device will be powered through the USB port.
The Chromecast with Google TV comes with quad-core AMLogic S905X2 SoC coupled with 4GB internal storage and 2GB RAM. The Chromecast with Google TV comes with Remote control which has just got D-Pad with the navigation button and dedicated Google Assistant key.
The remote control also gets Netflix and YouTube button too. It comes with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, DTSX, HDR10+, as well as support for h.265 streams, and 4K resolution.
The new Chromecast with Google TV will come at a price tag of 100 Euros (Rs.8800/-) in Europe and $50 (Rs.3800/-) in the US.
Google Nest Audio:
The Google Home Smart speaker might launch as Google Nest Audio which comes under Nest branding. The device will be available in five colours with Charcoal Black and Chalk White, Sage Green, Sand and Sky. The device measures 17.5×12.4×7.8cm and weighs around 1Kg. Yes, the Nest Audio comes with the all-plastic body.
The Google Nest Audio comes with fabric on the body which we previously saw on Google Home Mini. The device will come with Google Assistant support and is intended for stationary use. It comes with 75mm woofer, 19mm tweeter, 3 long-range mics for always active voice. It gets 50% more bass & 75% more volume than the original Google Home.
The device comes with four LED lights glowing on the front which tells us that Google Assistant is active. The mic can be deactivated by a slide switch on the back of the device. There is a power cable located next to the G-logo to powering the device which is proprietary in nature. The Google Nest Audio comes with Dual-band Wifi and Bluetooth 5.0 support.
The Google Nest Audio might cost around $99 Euros (Rs.7300/-) in the US and will go on sale from Oct 5.
