Looks like we already got the very first official look of the new POCO M2 ahead of Sept 8 launch. Previously we saw POCO India team was teasing the new POCO M2 which will be Made for India type phone and had not revealed much about the device. Now finally we got the very first look of the POCO M2 leaked along with key specs.
As per the listing on Flipkart, the new POCO M2 is nothing but the rebranded version of Redmi 9 Prime. So before you say WTF? what POCO is teasing none other than recently launched Redmi 9 Prime. This might be disappointing to see that almost nothing new about the new POCO M2, unlike the POCO X3.
Anyway, the listing also mentions the huge 6GB RAM and 5000 mAh battery powering the device. It will sport FHD+ waterdrop display the same as Redmi 9 Prime. So what is the change is just no circular characteristic around the camera on the back. From this we can already have the specs POCO M2 will sport the same 6.53 inches FHD+ waterdrop display.
It will be powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. It comes with quad-rear cameras with 13MP+8MP+5MP+2MP and 8MP selfie shooter. So we have to wait and see at what price the POCO M2 lands in India.
