The new Apple iPad 8th Gen will sport 10.2 inches Retina display with a resolution of 2160×1620p which is covered by Oleophobic coating. The device weighs 469 grams for Wifi only and 478 grams for Wifi+4G and is just 7.5mm thick.
Processor & Camera:
The new iPad 8th Gen is powered by outdated A12 Bionic chip with Neural Engine. The new Apple iPad 8th Gen will come in two variant with 32GB and 128GB. On the front, there is 1.2MP selfie FaceTine HD camera with an aperture of f/2.2 & an 8MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.4.
Battery & Connectivity:
The Apple iPad 8th Gen will come in Wifi Only and Wifi+4G LTE variants. The connectivity option includes Bluetooth 4.2, Dual Band Wifi, HT80 with MIMO and support for TouchID. All this is fueled by 32.4 watts/hr battery which can last for 10 hours on Wifi. The Apple iPad 8th Gen is running on iPadOS 14.
Pricing:
Apple iPad 8th Gen is priced at $329 (Rs.24,300/-) for base 32GB with Wifi only variants and goes up to $459 (Rs.33,800/-) for 32GB Wifi+4G variant. The Apple iPad 8th Gen will go on sale from Sept 18 in the US. The Apple iPad 8th Gen with 32GB Wifi Only will cost Rs.29,990/- and Rs.41,900 for Wifi+LTE in India.
