Apple has finally launched the new Apple Watch Series 6 along with affordable Apple Watch SE today. Yes, Apple has now jumped into affordable Smartwatch segment after the success of iPhone SE 2020. Anyway, the company also unveiled the successor to Apple Watch Series 5 with Apple Watch Series 6 too.

The new Apple Watch SE is nothing but rebranded Apple Watch Series 4 with some features removed. It sports same larger OLED display as the Apple Watch Series 4. The new Apple Watch SE comes in two sizes 40mm and 44mm.
The Apple Watch SE is powered by 64 Bit Dual-Core S5 SoC. The device will feature new haptic feedback on the digital crown. As the new Apple Watch SE features larger screen we can see more details clearly and also reply to some messages directly from the watch.

The Apple Watch SE comes with an IP68 rating which makes the device dust and water-resistant. Sadly, the new Apple Watch SE will lack the ECG feature this time. The new Apple Watch SE comes with some security features like SOS. Apple Watch sends the user an alert after a fall, which can be dismissed or used to initiate a call to emergency services.
If Apple Watch senses immobility for 60 seconds after the notification, it will automatically call emergency services and send a message along with the location to emergency contacts.

The new Apple Watch SE comes with Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0 support along with A-GPS and GLONASS. The new Apple Watch SE runs on all new WatchOS 7 out of the box. Apple finally announces the new successor to Apple Watch Series 5 with Apple Watch Series 6. The new Apple Watch Series 6 doesn’t come with any major changes and looks similar to the predecessor. The new feature includes that Apple Watch Series 6 comes with Watch face based on the situation of the work.

The new Apple Watch Series 6 features Family Setup for those who don’t actually own iPhone. So basically for those teenagers whose parents can control the Apple Watch of their Child wirelessly and also track them once lost.
Apple also announced its new service Apple Fitness+ which allows users to start their workout from world’s renowned fitness tutors through their Video training which automatically starts tracking on the Apple Watch.
The always-on altimeter provides real-time elevation all day long by using a new, more power-efficient barometric altimeter, along with GPS and nearby Wi-Fi networks. Always-On Retina display on Apple Watch Series 6 is up to 2.5 times brighter than Apple Watch Series 5 outdoors.
Apple Watch Series 6 will also add new Oxygen saturation or SpO2 Blood Oxygen sensor employs four clusters of green, red, and infrared LEDs, along with the four photodiodes on the back crystal of Apple Watch, to measure light reflected back from blood. Apple Watch then uses an advanced custom algorithm built into the Blood Oxygen app, which is designed to measure blood oxygen between 70 percent and 100 percent. On-demand measurements can be taken while the user is still, and periodic background measurements occur when they are inactive, including during sleep. All data will be visible in the Health app, and the user will be able to track trends over time to see how their blood oxygen level changes.
