Looks like Vivo is all set to launch the upgraded version of Vivo S1 with the new Vivo S1 Prime soon. Previously we saw Vivo launching the Vivo S7 5G in China and now we have all new S-series for Global markets with Vivo S1 Prime.
As per the source, the new Vivo S1 Prime is nothing but same Vivo S1 Pro that was launched last year in Philliphines. The new Vivo S1 Prime is scheduled to launch sometime in IPL season.
Vivo S1 Prime sports 6.38 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Sadly, the new Vivo S1 Prime comes with SD665 SoC same one found on Vivo U10 coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also features a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the back, the new Vivo S1 Prime features quad-rear cameras with 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor with an aperture of f/1.79, 8MP ultra-wide shooter (108-degrees) along with 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. The new Vivo S1 Prime features 32MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The new Vivo S1 Prime packs 4500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Vivo S1 Prime runs on Android 9 Pie with FunTouch OS 9.2 on top.
