Galaxy Note20 Ultra

Looks like Samsung is gonna add some interesting features to the new Galaxy Note20 series which will make it unique when compared with a competitor. Previously we saw tons of leaks revealing the press renders of the new Galaxy Note20 & Galaxy Note20 Ultra. We also got the detailed specs and pricing info of the same.

Today, we have got a new feature addition that will make the new Galaxy Note20 series more unique when compared with the competition. Yes, Samsung has now added very useful features called UWP which is nothing but a very fast way of transferring files.

The new Galaxy Note20 series will be the first smartphones in the world to use the new UWP feature that uses NFC, Secure Element & Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) fine-ranging technology to transfer the file by just pointing to the device. We can expect the Galaxy Note20 series to use the new U1 chip for this feature. Further, some reports claim that the UWP is nothing but the rebranded version of AirDrop.

Anyway, It could let a system service, like Google Play Services or Samsung Quick Share, use it by default to send/receive whenever needed then let apps take priority when using it as an app service. Would be similar to NFC’s controls but a different protocol.
