Samsung also announced its latest smartwatch with Galaxy Watch 3 which is the successor to Galaxy Watch 2. The new Galaxy Watch 3 four colours with Mystic Black, Mystic Silver, Black Leather and Pink Leather. The Galaxy Watch 3 will go on sale from today in the US.
The Galaxy Watch 3 with 41mm pricing starts at $399 (Rs.29,900/-) and LTE variant at $449 (Rs.33,600/-), 45mm at $429 (Rs.32,000/-) and with LTE at $479 (Rs.35,900/-). Sadly, no word about Indian launch and pricing details.
The new Galaxy Watch 3 will have two models with 45mm and 41mm having both Bluetooth only and LTE variants. The new Galaxy Watch 3 41mm weighs around 48g & 45mm at 53g. Both the models come with Stainless steel dial which makes the device ultra-premium.
The new Galaxy Watch 3 41mm sports smaller 1.2 inches whereas the 45mm with 1.4 inches same Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass DX on top. Both the models come with Exynos 9110 SoC coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.
The device comes with Bluetooth 5.0 support, Wifi, Linear Motor, Speaker, LTE, A-GPS and GLONASS support. It features a rotating dial which we saw on the initial variant of Galaxy Watch. It comes with features like 8 LED for PPG, ECG, along with 5ATM+IP68 rating which makes the device dust and water-resistant. The Galaxy Watch 3 will also get MIL-STD 810G certified.
The Galaxy Watch 3 runs on Tizen OS 5.5 out of the box and packs 340 mAh battery on 45mm model and 247 mAh on the 41mm model. It comes with standard features like Sleep Tracking, Monitoring heart rate, oxygen levels and more fitness-related activities. It also gets an automatic recording of Workouts & Post-run Coach analysis.
