Previously we saw reports revealing Apple ditching the power adaptor for the new iPhone 12 series. Now Samsung is set to follow the footstep of Apple soon.
Yes, new reports from South Korea reveals that soon Samsung might also remove the power adapter along with the smartphone retail package. As per the report, there is still no confirmation from the company yet but few of the industry insider claim that Samsung might soon follow Apple and remove the charging adapter from the retail package.
This might help Samsung to do some cost cutting which will also help them to reduce the price of the smartphone by some margin. Yes, this will help Samsung to price the smartphone more aggressive than the Chinese offering. This will happen to select Samsung models probably for the budget or mid-range segment for now. If the report is true then Samsung might stop bundling the power adapter right from early 2021.
This might even force users to buy an original accessory from the company which indirectly helps Samsung to earn more than expected.
