Previously we got various rumours suggesting about iPhone 12 series to a sport OLED display for all the variants. We even got the alleged iPhone 12 series dummy models showing the first look of the device. From the design, we got to know that Apple will not get rid of the notch this year too.
Now we have new reports coming which confirms the previous leaks about the iPhone 12 series display. As per the report, this is the first time Apple will move to OLED display for all the models of iPhone 12 after its debut with iPhone X. Further, the report also reveals that Apple will still stick to the notch on the iPhone 12 series as it is still not ready to implement in-display fingerprint scanner.
The report also confirms that there will be four models under the iPhone 12 series with iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The new iPhone 12 will ship with compact 5.4 inches OLED display, the iPhone 12 Pro & Max will sport same 6.1 inches OLED display and lastly the iPhone 12 Pro Max with 6.7 inches OLED display.
The report also confirms that 74% of the iPhone 12 series will ship with Samsung OLED panels whereas the 9% with China’s BOE.
