Previously we saw Xiaomi unveiling the new budget Redmi 9, Redmi 9A & Redmi 9C in China. Later it was launched in Europe and now finally landing Indian shores. Yes, Xiaomi is all set to launch the new Redmi 9 series soon in India.
As per the listing, the Redmi 9 series will again be exclusive to Amazon in India. The new Redmi 9 series will go official on Aug 4 in India the same date when the Amazon Prime Day sale starts. The teaser just shows the waterdrop notch display on the front with mention of Prime.
Anyway, the new Redmi 9 series will be launching on Aug 4 via online-only event streaming from 12 noon via Amazon and YouTube. The new Redmi 9 series comes powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. We have to wait and see at what price does Xiaomi launch the budget Redmi 9 series in India.
