After a series of leaks suggesting the first look of the budget 5G from Motorola aka Moto G 5G Plus, the company has finally made it official. With no surprise, the Moto G 5G Plus looks similar to previously leaked renders. The new Moto G 5G Plus comes in single Surfing Blue Colour and will be going on sale from July 8 in Europe. It will further roll out to UAE and other markets in the coming weeks.
The Moto G 5G Plus with 4GB+64GB cost at €349 (Rs.29,500/-) & 6GB+128GB at €399 (Rs.33,900/-) in Europe. The new Moto G 5G Plus will not launch in the US as the company is planning to introduce sub $500 5G phone soon.
The new Moto G 5G Plus comes with a glossy glass back and premium metal edges. The device looks quite different in terms of design when compared with previous devices. It measures 9 mm thick and weighs 207g. The Moto G 5G Plus sports 6.7 inches dual-punch hole FHD+ IPS LCD display with 90Hz refresh rates and HDR10 support. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The Moto G 5G Plus is powered by SD765 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. Sadly, the devices don’t come with microSD card slot. The Moto G 5G Plus features quad-rear cameras with 48MP Samsung GM1 main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP macro sensor with f/2.2 and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
The Moto G 5G Plus comes with dual selfie cameras with 16MP main sensor with f/2.0 & 8MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, 5G NSA, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.1, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Frequency GPS, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack & NFC. It is also water repellent and comes with side-mounted fingerprint scanner with Bottom-ported loudspeaker.
The Moto G 5G Plus packs 5000 mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. It runs on Android 10 OS out of the box.
