Looks like after Xiaomi, Huawei and Realme we now have LG too launching cheaper 5G devices soon in the coming months. Previously we saw LG Velvet 5G that was one of the premium flagships from the company with mid-range specs. Now the brand is looking to invest under the mid-range segment with its latest Q-series aka the LG Q92 5G.
As per the source, they have spotted the upcoming cheaper 5G phone the LG Q92 5G on Google Play console. As per the listing, the new LG Q92 5G sports FHD+ display with 420 PPI which translates to probably 6.0 inches screen size. Further, the listing mentions that LG Q92 5G will be using SD765G SoC the same one powering the LG Velvet which is great.
The new LG Q92 5G will come with 6GB RAM and probably 128GB storage option. The device runs on Android 10 out of the box. From the listing, we also got the first look of the device which now uses punch-hole display on the front with thicker bezels on the chin portion.
The volume rockers along with dedicated Google Assitant Key is located on the left whereas we have a power button with the probably side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the right. If it ships with side-mounted fingerprint scanner then the LG Q92 5G might feature IPS LCD display instead. Anyway, hopefully, LG brings this device to India soon.
