Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi finally launches the new budget smartphone Redmi 9 in Spain. The new Redmi 9 will arrive in three colours with Black, Green, Purple. Sadly, the device is only available in Spain for now and no word about Indian launch.
The Redmi 9 will go on sale from June 18 and will go on pre-orders from June 15. The Redmi 9 will be available mi.com, mi stores, Amazon & various e-commerce websites in Spain.
Redmi 9 again comes with a polycarbonate back with POCO F2 as a rear camera. The new Redmi 9 will sport 6.53 inches FHD+ IPS LCD waterdrop display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ on top. It weighs 198g and measures 9.1 mm thick.
The Redmi 9 is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. The Redmi 9 comes with quad-rear cameras with 13MP main sensor having an aperture of f/2.2, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 118-degrees FOV, there is 2MP f/2.4 aperture depth sensor and 5MP f/2.4 macro sensor with LED flash.
On the front, we have 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, A-GPS, GLONASS, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, IR Blaster and 3.5mm audio jack. All this is packed by 5020 mAh battery with 18W fast charge support.
The Redmi 9 with 3GB+32GB cost €149 (Rs.12,700/-) and 4GB+64GB at €179 (Rs.15,200/-) in Spain.
