After tons of leaks and rumors finally, Vivo took off the curtains from the premium camera-centric phone the new Vivo X50 series. Yes, Vivo has finally launched the successor to the Vivo X30 series with Vivo X50 in China today. The Vivo X50 series includes Vivo X50, Vivo X50 Pro & Vivo X50 Pro+.

Vivo X50, Vivo X50 Pro & Â Vivo X50 Pro+ will look similar to each other with some minor changes in terms of specs. Both the devices do come with premium metal and glass back and measure 7.49 mm & 8mm thick. The Vivo X50 & Vivo X50 Pro weighs around 173g and 180g respectively. The Vivo X50 Pro+ comes with slightly more premium leather back and weighs 180g.
The new Vivo X50 & Vivo X50 Pro will sport 6.56 inches FHD+ (2376*1080p) AMOLED punch-hole display with 90Hz refresh rates with HDR10+ support. The Vivo X50 Pro+ test the same display as the Vivo X50 but with higher 120Hz refresh rates. The display also gets a 180hz touch screen sampling rate and supports the Eagle Eye mode for enhancing the game screen. The Vivo X50 & Vivo X50 Pro comes with mid-range SD756G SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The Vivo X50 Pro+ uses SD865 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The Vivo X50, Vivo X50 Pro & Vivo X50 Pro+ comes with gimble-like stabilization aka Big Eye camera on the main sensor of the rear camera which makes shake-less videos on the go without the need for any third-party gimble. The main sensor on the Vivo X50 series uses micro PTZ adopts a double ball suspension structure. The Big Eye stabilization uses Lorentz force to control the camera module, perform reverse motion compensation, and keep the picture stable through continuous adjustment.
Vivo X50 Pro features quad-rear cameras with 48MP Sony IMX589 primary sensor (f/1.6 aperture) with OIS and 8MP (F/3.4) telescopic sensor having 5X optical and 60x Hybrid zoom also comes with a 13MP (f/2.48 aperture) 50mm portrait lens along with 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens with LED flash and Laser AF. The Vivo X50 replaces the telescopic to 5MP macro lens and all other remaining sensor remains the same. It comes with 5-axis VIS video image stabilization along with EIS support. Further, the device also comes with instant subtitles that recognize the human voice in the video.
The new Vivo X50 Pro + uses the Samsung GN1 50MP sensor, with 1 / 1.3 ” pixel size and remaining sensors are the same as the Vivo X50 Pro. The new Vivo X50, Vivo X50 Pro & Vivo X50 Pro+ features a 32MP selfie shooter on the front f/2.8 aperture. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode support), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port. The new Vivo X50 Pro+ with 8GB+128GB at 4298 yuan, 8GB+256GB at 5498 yuan (Rs.58,200/-) , and 5998 yuan (Rs.63,500/-) for 12GB+256GB. The Vivo X50 & Vivo X50 Pro will be available in colors Blue, Black, Green, and Pink colors. The Vivo X50 Pro+ will be available in Blue and leather Brown colour.
