HTC makes a comeback with some new set of mid-range devices with the HTC U20 5G and HTC Desire 20 Pro. Previously we got various leaks suggesting HTC Desire 20 Pro launching soon. Now HTC has finally unveiled two new devices HTC U20 5G and HTC Desire 20 Pro. Sadly, the company has not yet revealed the Global launch details of the HTC U20 5G and HTC Desire 20 Pro.
The new HTC U20 5G will arrive in Dark Green and Crystal White and HTC Desire 20 Pro Smokey Black and Pretty Blue colours. HTC U20 5G comes with a premium price tag of NT$ 18,990 (Rs.48,800/-) whereas the HTC Desire 20 Pro at NT$ 8,990 (Rs.23,000/-) in Taiwan. Both the devices will go on sale from July 1 in Taiwan.
HTC U20 5G & HTC Desire 20 Pro comes with almost similar design and looks identical with different internals. The HTC Desire 20 Pro & HTC U20 5G measures 9.4 mm thick and weighs 201g and 215g respectively. The new HTC U20 5G & HTC Desire 20 Pro sports 6.8 inches and 6.5 inches FHD+ IPS LCD punch-hole display.
The new HTC U20 5G comes with SD765G with 5G support coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage whereas the HTC Desire 20 Pro with SD665 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The new HTC U20 5G & HTC Desire 20 Pro same set of quad-rear cameras with 48MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, 8MP 119-degrees Ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and 2MP macro plus depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash.
The HTC U20 5G & HTC Desire 20 Pro comes with 32MP & 25MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.4. Both the devices do come with the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G NSA/SA (HTC U20 only) Dual Band Wifi, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Both the HTC U20 5G & HTC Desire 20 Pro comes with 5000 mAh battery with QC 3.0/4.0 fast charge support.
The new HTC U20 5G & HTC Desire 20 Pro runs on Android 10 OS out of the box.
