Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 Lite earlier this year which was a surprise move from the company. As Samsung hardly launch such flagship lite version devices and we eve notice the Galaxy S10 Lite came with SD855 even for the Global markets which made it more popular than the Exynos variant of Galaxy S10 series.
Now we have some interesting news coming that Samsung might soon replace the Galaxy S10 Lite with new Galaxy S20 series. Recently Galaxy S20 series went on sale but didn’t get more sales due to the Exynos 990 performance issue. Now the company has arrived with a new plan to introduce cheaper Galaxy S20 series probably to replace the current S Lite series.
As per the source, they have got few leaks suggesting the new Galaxy S20 series are in works with SM-G780 for Global and SM-G781 exclusive to the US. Further, the source also revealed that the device will be internally called as Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. The new SM-G780 will come with both 5G and non-5G variants for Global users whereas the SM-G781 will be 5G only model.
The new SM-G780 will ship with Samsung One UI 2.5 and runs on Android 10. The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will come with a base 128GB storage option.
