Samsung preparing to launch the new budget device Galaxy M01 in India and is yet to go official soon. Now we have new leaks suggesting that the company has already begun working on a successor with the new Galaxy M01s. Now the alleged Galaxy M01s have just been passed through Wifi Alliance and Geekbench listing.
As per the source, the alleged Galaxy M01s is being certified by Wifi Alliance which comes with model number SM-M017F/DS where DS stands for Dual SIM. Further, the listing confirms that Galaxy M01s will get single-band Wifi with 2.4GHz. The device runs on Android 10 out of the box.
The same device was also spotted on Geekbench listing which revealed the specs of the alleged Galaxy M01s. As per the source, the new Galaxy M01s aka SM-M107F was weirdly running on outdated Android 9 Pie. Probably once it goes official it might arrive with the latest Android 10 version.
Further, the Galaxy M01s is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and probably comes with 32GB storage. So the new Galaxy M01s might be for some different markets as it comes with different specs when compared with Galaxy M01.
