Previously sometime last year we had few rumors about Qualcomm planning to introduce some new Snapdragon 6, 7, and 8 series chipset. Qualcomm even introduced the new SD765, SD765G, and SD768G later this year. Now we finally have some new 5G chipset on the way for budget mid-range devices.
Yes, as per the popular tipster Digital Station has just revealed the details of the upcoming Qualcomm mid-range 5G chipset. The new budget 5G SoC will be coming under the 6 series with SD6350 as a codename. The new SD6350 will be octa-core processor with dual higher clocked performance cores clocked at 2.246GHz along 6 power-efficient cores clocked at 1.804 GHz.
All this is coupled with new Adreno 615 GPU for better gaming which comes with a max frequency of 850 MHz. Basically the GPU is the same one found on SD670 SoC. Further, the source also revealed that MediaTek and Huawei are also planning for budget 5G chipset.
