Previously we got various leaks about the alleged cheapest OnePlus phone the OnePlus Z or OnePlus 8 Lite. We even got the launch schedule of the new OnePlus Z along with some live images. Now the same source has just revealed any interesting fact about the new OnePlus Z.
As per the tipster, the new OnePlus Z will no longer be using the alleged MediaTek Dimesity 1000 SoC after all. Yes, as per the source, the OnePlus Z will be powered by SD765G SoC with 5G support. So this might be good news for some users as many of them didn’t like the MediaTek processor on the OnePlus smartphone. Anyway, this move might be made after Qualcomm cutting the prices of the new SD765G SoC.
Anyway, apart from this nothing much about the new OnePlus Z is revealed at the moment. As per previous leaks, the OnePlus Z will be using punch-hole AMOLED FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rates. It will feature 48MP quad-rear cameras and comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The OnePlus Z with SD765 series chipset has a better GPU than the MediaTek one which might improve the gaming performance. The OnePlus Z might again be killer phone if priced aggressively.
