Looks like Honor is planning to bring its top-end model under the Honor 9X series with Honor 9X Pro to Indian shores. After announcing the Honor 9X earlier this year which arrived with Kirin 710 SoC. Now the company is launching another mid-range phone with Honor 9X Pro.
As per the IANS report, Honor is considering to launch the Honor 9X Pro in India on May 12. The report also states that the Honor 9X Pro will be exclusive to Flipkart in India. Further, the new Honor 9X Pro will ship with Kirin 810 SoC which is not certified by Google as it was launched after the on-going US Ban.
Hence the report also states that Honor 9X Pro will not arrive with Google Apps instead will ship with Huawei App Gallery and becomes the first Honor phone to do so in India. As per the source, the Honor 9X Pro might be launched under Rs 15,000-Rs 20,000.
The Honor 9X Pro will be available in a single variant with 8GB+128GB and will ship with triple rear cameras with 48MP+8MP+2MP. There is a 16MP pop-up selfie camera. All this packed by 4000 mAh battery and runs on outdated Android 9 Pie. It comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
