Looks like HTC is back into the game after almost two long years not launching any new premium flagship smartphone and only concentrating on VR and mid-range phones. Yes, HTC is planning to make comeback with its new flagship later this year.
Even after struggling market shares, HTC is still planning to bring back the lost flagship series this year. Yes, these losses don’t stop the brand from launching new devices and is looking to make comeback with a flagship device after almost two years. As per the reports, HTC will launch its first-ever 5G premium flagship by July 2020.
Further, the reports suggest that HTC will launch its flagship smartphone first in Taiwan and might expand later to other markets. Sadly, no more details about the new HTC flagship is revealed at the moment but we can expect the device will use the SD865 SoC. The alleged flagship might be called as HTC U13.
Apart from the flagship, HTC is also launching the mid-range HTC Desire 20 Pro with SD665 SoC and 4G support later next month.
