Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi finally announced its cheapest flagship with Redmi K30 Pro & Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition in China. The new Redmi K30 Pro comes in White, Blue, Gray and Purple colours and will go on sale from March 27th.
The new Redmi K30 Pro cost 2999 Yuan (Rs.32200/-) for 6GB+128GB, 3399 Yuan (Rs.36,500/-) for 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB at 3699 Yuan (Rs.39,800/-) and the top-end Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition with 8GB+128GB at 3799 Yuan (Rs.40,900/-) & 8GB+256GB at 3999 Yuan (Rs.43,000/-) in China.
The new Redmi K30 Pro comes with glass and metal body with a glossy back that looks similar to OnePlus 7T. It weighs 218g and measures 8.9 mm thick. The new Redmi K30 Pro sports 6.67 inches FHD+ E3 Samsung Super AMOLED display with HDR10+ support and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
As expected the Redmi K30 Pro & Zoom Edition comes with SD865 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The new Redmi K30 Pro features quad-rear cameras with 64MP main 1/1.7″ Sony IMX686 sensor with f/1.69 aperture, 7P Lens, 13MP 123-degrees Ultra-wide angle lens, 5MP macro sensor with 3cm ~ 7cm autofocus macro and 2MP depth sensor with LED flash.
The new Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition features almost similar cameras as the Pro but comes with a slight change as it gets the 8MP telephoto lens for 3x optical zoom, 30x digital zoom instead of a macro lens. Both the devices come with 8K video recording support at 30fps and 4k 60fps. The new Redmi K30 Pro comes with 20MP pop-up selfie camera with 120fps slow-mo recording. Both of them comes with IP56 certified making it dust and water-resistant.
The new Redmi K30 Pro also gets in-display fingerprint scanner with IR Blaster. The connectivity option includes comes with Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G support, Wifi 6, GPS (L1 + L5), Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, NFC and Hi-Res audio, 1216 1.0cc speaker. The new Redmi K30 Pro packs 4700 mAh battery with 33W Wired/Wireless fast charging support. It runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top.
