Huawei sub-brand Honor has finally announced its new devices under the mid-range and budget segment with Honor 30S & Honor 9A in China. The new Honor 30S will arrive in black, blue, green and gradient colours whereas Honor 9A with Green, Blue, and Black.
The new Honor 30S & Honor 9A are up on pre-orders from today and will go on sale from April 7 in China. The new Honor 30S cost 2399 Yuan (Rs.25,500/-) for 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB at 2699 Yuan (Rs.28,700/-) in China. The new Honor 9A with 4GB+64GB cost 899 Yuan (Rs.9500/-) and 4GB+128GB at 1199 Yuan (Rs.12,800/-) in China.
Honor 30S:
Honor has finally launched its first smartphone under the Honor 30 series with Honor 30S that comes under premium mid-range segment. The new Honor 30S is made out of premium glass back and metal chassis gives it a classy look. The new Honor 30S sports punch-hole display with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The new Honor 30S comes with 6.5 inches IPS LCD punch-hole FHD+ display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080p. The new Honor 30S becomes the very first smartphone to ship with Kirin 820 SoC with 5G support. It is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/25GB storage option and comes with microSD card slot.
The new Honor 30S features quad-rear cameras with 64MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 with AF, 8MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f.2.4 and 3x optical zoom, 8MP Ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 with LED flash, EIS/AIS support. There is 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The rear cameras can shoot videos up to 4K @30fps.
The connectivity option includes comes with Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The new Honor 30S packs 4000 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support and runs on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.0.1 on top.
Honor 9A:
Honor also announced one more device under the budget category with the new Honor 9A. The new Honor 9A comes with a similar design as the Honor 30S with rectangular camera module but with a waterdrop notch. It also comes with premium design with metal edges and glass back. The new Honor 9A measures 9.04 mm thick and weighs around 185g.
The new Honor 9A sports 6.3 inches TFT IPS LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 1600x720p. It is powered by Mediatek MT6765 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage with microSD card slot.
The new Honor 9A features dual rear cameras with 13MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 with AF and 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 with LED flash. There is 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The rear cameras can shoot videos up to 1080p @30fps.
The connectivity option includes comes with Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, micro USB port, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The new Honor 30S packs 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support and runs on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.0.1 on top.
