Previously we saw various rumors about Xiaomi’s next big flagship the Mi 10 series. We even got the hands-on images of the new Mi 10 Pro along with specs leaked. Now we have some official confirmation from Xiaomi for the new Mi 10 series.
As per the source, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 will no longer have a 6GB RAM variant. As per the post on Weibo, Lei Jun confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 10 will come with a minimum of 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage space. Further, the poll also confirmed that many users are interested in buying the phone with more storage and RAM option.
The reason for opting for 8GB RAM is that Micron doesn’t manufacture 6GB LPDDR5 RAM at the moment. Lei Jun also confirmed that this year there will be no 64GB storage option on the new Xiaomi Mi 10 series. The storage configuration of Xiaomi Mi 10 will be of 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB & 16GB+512GB.
