Redmi India has now launched an upgraded version of Redmi 8A with Redmi 8A Dual. The new Redmi 8A Dual will arrive with Dual-rear cameras and looks almost similar to Redmi 8A. The device also misses the fingerprint scanner support. The new Redmi 8A Dual comes in Midnight Grey, Sea Blue and Sky White colours.
The Redmi 8A Dual with 2GB+32GB cost Rs.6499/- whereas the 3GB+32GB at Rs.6999/- in India. The new Redmi 8A Dual will go on sale from Feb 18 via Amazon, Mi.com and all Mi Home outlets.
The new Redmi 8A Dual comes with a polycarbonate back with unique Aura wave grip design and features splash resistant nano-coating. The device measures 9.4 mm thick and weighs around 188 grams. The Redmi 8A Dual sports 6.22 inches HD+ Dewdrop display with 2.5D Curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The Redmi 8A Dual is powered by SD439 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with dedicated microSD card slot. The Redmi 8A Dual features dual-rear cameras with 13MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and secondary 2MP depth sensor, Dual PD AF and LED flash. The Redmi 8A Dual comes with 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.
The Redmi 8A Dual comes with Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS and FM Radio. It also features 3.5 mm audio jack along with USB Type-C port. Redmi 8A packs 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Redmi 8A Dual runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 out of the box.
