Recently we saw ISRO launching its very own GPS chipset called the Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC). Now we have Qualcomm integrating the first set of chipset with the new Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) in India. Yes, Qualcomm has now launched three new 4G chipsets in India with  Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, 662 and 460.

The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G will bring the Elite gaming experience to the mid-range segment and is termed as a downgraded version of SD765G with all features like dynamic colour range & Qualcomm aptX Adaptive. The new SD720G comes with 8nm built Octa-core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz based on Kyro 465 cores. The SD720G comes with  Adreno 618 GPU along with support for cameras up to 192 MP & 4K recording at 30fps.

The SD720G comes with Snapdragon X15 LTE chipset with Download speeds up to 800 Mbps and also has support for QC 4.0. The next chipset is again for mid-range devices under the SD600 series with SD622 SoC. The new SD622 SoC is made for devices under the affordable segment and performs better than other chipsets. The SD622 SoC built on 11 nm process with Octa-core processor clocked at 2 GHz along with Kyro 260. It comes with Adreno 610 GPU along with camera support up to 48MP & 1080p videos at 60fps.

The SD622 SoC also comes with Snapdragon X11 LTE chipset with QC 3.0 support. Lastly, the Qualcomm introduces the chipset for the budget segment with SD460 SoC. The new SD460 SoC is built on 11nm process with Octa-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz along with Kyro 240. It comes with Adreno 610 GPU along with camera support up to 48MP & 1080p videos at 60fps. The SD460 SoC also comes with Snapdragon X11 LTE chipset with QC 3.0 support. All of them comes with support for Dual VoLTE; Wi-Fi 6 & Bluetooth 5.1.

Further, Realme & Redmi confirmed that they would be soon launching their next smartphone powered by SD865 SoC, SD720G, SD622 & SD460 in India in coming weeks.
