Previously we saw Xiaomi announcing the new Xiaomi Mi Band 4 which arrived with larger battery and colour OLED panel. With just six months of the official launch, Xiaomi has already begun working on a successor with the new Xiaomi Mi Band 5.
As per the source, Xiaomi upcoming Mi Band 5 will sport larger 1.2 inches display this time. The new Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will also get NFC support even for Global markets which Mi Band 4 Global variant lacks. Further, the new Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will launch in China by June 2020.
The report also claims that the new Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will cost 179 Yuans (Rs.1900/-) and will be made by Huami. We can expect a slight hike in pricing for Global users. Anyway, the new Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will be again game-changer in the Fitness band market this year.
