Previously we saw popular tipster announcing one bad news about the new Galaxy S20 series will not have QHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rates instead will come with support for FHD+. Now we have got another hands-on video leaked which confirms some of the previous leaks of the device.
As per the source, the new Galaxy S20+ will indeed sport 6.7 inches QHD+ display with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. The new Galaxy S20+ will still use the Qualcomm’s ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner but there is no info about whether it uses the new-gen or the same one found on Galaxy S10 series.
Further, the source also confirmed that Galaxy S20+ will come with 120Hz refresh rate support but will be limited to FHD+ and once the user selects QHD+ resolution it will drop down to 60Hz which is disappointing. The new Galaxy S20+ will now ship with USB Type-C based AKG earphones as the device lacks 3.5 mm audio jack and will come with Super Fast charger within the package. The new Galaxy S20+ will come with 25W fast charging support.
Lastly, the source also confirmed some of the specs of the new Galaxy S20+. As per the source, the new Galaxy S20+ will be powered by SD865/ Exynos 990 SoC coupled with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB internal storage. It packs 4500 mAh battery and runs on Android 10 out of the box. The tipster also confirmed that Galaxy S20+ will feature quad-rear cameras with 12MP + 12MP + 64MP + TOF with LED flash.
