Previously we got reports suggesting Apple dropping the name iPhone SE2 and will now be branded as iPhone 9. Now we have another report coming from China which reveals that there will be one more iPhone 9 model with LCD display. Yes, later this year Apple will launch not five but six new iPhones globally.
As per the report, Apple is working on one more variant of iPhone 9 with a bigger display which will again be using the same LCD display. The new bigger display variant will be called as iPhone 9 Plus. As per the Supply chain sources in China, the company might bring the new iPhone 9 Plus by the end of this year or beginning of 2021.
Further, the source also confirmed that Apple will soon launch the iPhone 9 later this year. As of now the company has not yet finalised the design of the new iPhone 9 series but has two options left. The first option is the traditional iPhone 8 like design with thicker bezels and centre home button with Touch ID. The second option is iPhone Xr like 6.1 inches LCD display with a wider notch and slimmer bezels.
The source also revealed that the new iPhone 9 Plus pricing could start from $499 (Rs.36,000/-). As of now, we are still not sure about the specs of the new iPhone 9 Plus.
