Previously Xiaomi had announced its timeline for the Android 10 update based on MIUI 11 for its devices. As per the timeline, the new Redmi Note 7 will get the new Android 10 update by Q1 of 2020 i.e within March-end. Now we probably have good news to Redmi Note 7 series users as the company is already started working for the update.
As per the post on MIUI forums, Xiaomi has now started closed Beta Android 10 update based on MIUI 11 in China for the Redmi Note 7. Normally the new beta update will take a minimum of three weeks to fix the bugs and then the company will announce public Beta.
This indirectly states that Xiaomi needs a min of eight weeks to push the stable version of Android 10 update. So when calculated we can expect the Android 10 update might hit earlier than the expected.
