Samsung Galaxy Fold 2

We even got new details about the upcoming Galaxy Fold 2. Recently Samsung has filed the trademarks for the new type of display called UTG display aka Ultra-Thin Glass display. As per the source, Samsung might use the UTG display for the Galaxy Fold 2 instead of pOLED.

The listing reveals that the UTG display comes with a thickness of 100 microns (µm), and it may even reach 30 microns. This makes the display more clear and is friction resistant. Further, the new UTG display also cost premium to manufacture and is pretty difficult to make it.
