Earlier we saw Qualcomm announcing the new 3D Sonic Max Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner which is faster and accurate than the predecessor. Now we have new rumour coming about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 series.
As per the source, the new Samsung Galaxy S11 might become one of the first brands to use the Qualcomm powered 3D Sonic Max Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The upgraded 3D Sonic Max can now detect two fingerprints simultaneously making it the first of its kind. Further, the new sensor is also 17 times larger than the 3D Sonic and also enables 1 million accuracy rates than 50,00 on the predecessor.
As of now, there is no official confirmation from Samsung nor Qualcomm but considering the fact that till date only Samsung is using the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for its flagship, we can expect the company might use the new 3D Sonic Max on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 series.
