Earlier we saw various leaks regarding the next iteration of Oppo’s custom skin the new ColorOS 7. Now Oppo has officially unveiled the new ColorOS 7 in China. The new ColorOS 7 looks almost similar to ColorOS 6 but is lighter and faster UI this time.

The new ColorOS 7 doesn’t come with major UI changes apart from new San fonts. Further, the new ColorOS 7 will get the system-wide dark mode which is one of the features on Android 10. The dark-mode feature will even work on third-party apps and also adds new eye filter mode.

ColorOS 7 also gets the Oxygen OS Zen Mode as Focus mode, the new UI will also automatically switches to Drive mode when connected car’s Bluetooth. The new ColorOS 7 will also bring new flashback button to multitask between apps. For example if you receive a text message while gaming one can just tap on the Flashback button which will switch between game and messenger without any lags. Further, the Flashback mode will also give a glimpse of what’s happening in the game.

ColorOS 7 also adds Password manager by Google and also comes with newer camera UI with features like portrait mode 2.0, night mode, super stabilization, and Soloop video editor. Lastly, the new ColorOS 7 will also bring a cross-brand file transfer protocol.

Oppo also unveiled the list of devices receiving the new ColorOS 7 update. As per the source, the new ColorOS 7 update will first roll-out to OPPO Reno, Reno 10x Zoom, Reno Ace, Reno Ace Gundam Edition by 25 Nov. Later the new Oppo Reno 2 will be receiving the update by December.

The next set of devices will receive the ColorOS 7 update by Q1 of 2020. The list of devices includes Reno2 Z, Reno Z, Find X, Find X Lamborghini Edition, Find X Super Flash Edition, R17, R17 New Year Edition, R17 Pro, R17 Pro New Year Edition, R17 Pro King Custom Edition, R17 Pro Pikachu Custom Edition, OPPO K5.

The last set of Oppo devices will receive the ColorOS 7 update by Q2 of 2020. The devices are OPPO R15, R15 Dream Edition, K3, A9, A9x, A11, and A11x. Realme also announced the list of devices receiving the ColorOS 7 update which includes Realme X, Realme X Lite by Feb 2020, Realme Q by March and Realme X2, Realme X2 Pro by April 2020.
