Earlier we saw various Android manufacturers implementing the faster version of in-display fingerprint scanner on their flagship devices. But sadly even this year iPhone’s didn’t feature the much-awaited in-display Touch ID feature and were relied on the FaceID.
Now new patents filed by Apple revealed that the company is busy testing the under-display fingerprint tech since 2018 and is all set to hit 2020 iPhones. But the new patent listing reveals that the tech will also be implemented on Apple Watch.
Further, Apple will move the GPS and data antenna to strap of the Apple watch which will help to reduce the size of the device. This might also make space for a larger battery and additional in-display fingerprint scanner.
