Huawei has finally announced the world’s first in-display camera tablet with HUAWEI MediaPad Pro in China. The new HUAWEI MediaPad Pro comes in Orange, White, Green and Gray colours. The HUAWEI MediaPad Pro will go on sale from Dec 12 and is currently up on pre-orders in China. The HUAWEI MediaPad Pro 5G will go on sale sometime in Jan 2020.
HUAWEI MediaPad Pro with 6GB+128GB cost 3299 yuan (Rs.33,700/-), 8GB+256GB at 3999 Yuan (Rs.40,800/-), the LTE version price starts from 3799 Yuan (Rs.38,800/-). The new HUAWEI MediaPad Pro comes with premium metal and glass back and weighs 460 grams. It is just 7.2 mm thick.
The HUAWEI MediaPad Pro sports 10.8 inches QHD+ WQXGA display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and 2.5D Curved glass on top. HUAWEI MediaPad Pro is powered by Kirin 990 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage version. It comes with expandable storage via NM card.
The HUAWEI MediaPad Pro features single rear cameras with 13MP having an aperture of f/1.8 and PDAF with LED flash. The HUAWEI MediaPad Pro becomes the first tablet to feature punch-hole display carrying 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. HUAWEI MediaPad Pro features quad-speakers certified by Harman Kardon and also supports Huawei Histen sound effect.
The connectivity option includes Dual-Band Wifi, 4G LTE, 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. All this is powered by 7250 mAh battery with 40W HUAWEI super fast charge, 15W wireless charging, and 7.5w reverse charging. The Huawei MatePad Pro runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10 on top.
The new HUAWEI MediaPad Pro also comes with HUAWEI M-Pencil 12 support with 4096-level pressure sense and 20ms ultra-low latency. M-Pencil is attached to the top of the tablet with active magnetic pairing and simultaneous wireless charging. The HUAWEI M-Pencil can fast charge for the 30s and writes for 10 hours. It also comes with a smart magnetic keyboard which weighs 260 grams.
