Samsung announced the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 & Galaxy Watch Active along with Galaxy S10 earlier this year. After almost six months of official launch both the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 & Galaxy Watch Active has hit Indian shores. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 & Galaxy Watch Active will be available for purchase right from today across all leading online and offline retail outlets.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 will set you back with a whopping price tag of Rs.59,990/- for keyboard cover will be available for Rs.10,990/-. The launch offers include flat Rs.5000/- cashback for HDFC Bank Credit/Debit card users, keyboard cover at a discounted price of Rs.5499/- and six months of YouTube Premium.
The new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active cost Rs.26,990/- for Aluminium variant and Rs.31,990/- for the stainless steel one. The Galaxy Watch will be available in various colours with black, rose gold, cloud, silver, black, and gold. Â The Galaxy Watch Active LTE will come in two sizes with 42mm and 46mm. Â Galaxy Watch Active LTE cost Rs.28,990/- for 42mm and Rs.30,990/- for 46mm one.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 & Galaxy Active LTE:
The new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 comes in two variant one with Aluminium having four colours with Cloud Silver, Aqua Black, Pink Gold with Fluoroelastomer (FKM) and other Stainless Steel aka LTE variant with Silver, Black, Gold with Leather strap.
The new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 weighs around 27 grams to 42 grams for 40mm and 44mm models. The new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 40 mm sports 1.2 inches whereas the 44 mm with 1.4 inches 360*360p Super AMOLED Always On Display. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass DX+ protection on top. This is the first watch to ditch the physical rotating bezels and opt for rotating touch bezel turns both clockwise and counter-clockwise to advance screens.
Further, one can even customise the watch face with the help of new My Style colour extraction algorithm which is available via Galaxy Wearable app where one has to simply take a photo of your outfit, choose from five different colour patterns, and your watch face changes in seconds.
The new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is powered by Exynos 9110 Dual-Core chipset clocked at 1.15 GHz coupled with 768MB RAM and 4GB storage for Wifi only and LTE variant with 1.5 GB RAM and 4GB internal storage. The new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 with 40mm model packs 247 mAh battery whereas the 44mm with 340 mAh battery.
The connectivity option includes Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, LTE support, and Heart Rate sensor. It also supports WPC-based wireless charging and comes with IP68 dust and water-resistant, 5ATM with MIL-STD-810G.
Further, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 with LTE connectivity allows to make and receive calls freely from the watch. As seen on the Apple Watch, now Samsung has also added the new Electrocardiogram support on the new Galaxy Watch Active 2. The new Galaxy Watch Active 2 runs on Tizen OS with One UI on top.
The new Galaxy Watch Active 2 with LTE can also read, reply to and like tweets from the watch itself and watch videos and also comes with real-time voice and text translation over 16 languages globally.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6:
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 looks similar to other Galaxy Tabs launched in the past with same metal body but comes with a slot for S-Pen on the back this time. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is one of the thinnest flagship tablets with just 5.7 mm thick and also lighter at 420 grams.
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 sports 10.5 inches WQXGA sAMOLED display with a resolution of 2560*1600p having an aspect ratio of 16:10. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is powered by the SD855 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. It also comes with a MicroSD card slot for further storage expansion.
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 features Dual rear cameras with 13MP primary wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.0 along with 5MP 123-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and Live Focus. There is an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 which also doubles up as Face Unlock. The device comes with optical in-display fingerprint scanner along with quad-speakers tuned by AKG. It also comes with DeX support.
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 also features S-Pen support which can now be used to skip tracks, take notes and comes with Air Action support. The connectivity option includes Single SIM with 4G LTE, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo and USB Type-C port. It packs 7040 mAh battery with fast charging support.
