Earlier we saw few rumours about Redmi planning to introduce the successor to Redmi K20 series. Now Redmi has finally shown the first glimpse of the upcoming cheapest 5G flagship with Redmi K30.
Redmi GM Lu Weibing has finally unveiled the first look of the Redmi K30 at the Redmi 8 launch in China. As per the presentation, Lu Weibing confirmed that Redmi K30 will sport Samsung Galaxy S10+ like pilled shaped Dual selfie cameras on the front. So the Redmi K30 will come with punch-hole display after all.
The earpiece is above the display similar to any other smartphone with the punch-hole display. Further, the teaser confirms that Redmi K30 will also have support for 5G Networks. Yes, Lu Weibing also revealed that the Redmi K30 will be the first to arrive with Dual Band 5G support with both NSA & SA mode. The device will still rely on LTE networks for some tasks such as communication between cell towers and servers.
Further, the new Redmi K30 is rumoured to arrive with the upcoming SD7250 SoC with 5G support which Qualcomm will launch in coming weeks.
