Earlier we got tons of renders and specs leaks of the new Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play. Now Motorola has officially revealed the new Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play in Brazil. The new Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play will arrive in Onyx Black and Magenta Red colours. The Moto G8 Plus cost Rs.13,999/- in India, Moto E6 Play at 105 Euro (Rs.8500/-)Moto G8 Play at BRL 1,099 (Rs.19420/-) will be launched later. Moto G8 Plus will go on sale via Flipkart from the end of this month whereas the Moto G8 Play will go on sale in Brazil from today.
The new Moto G8 Plus & Moto G8 Play features polycarbonate back inspired from Motorola One Macro design with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Moto E6 Play comes with traditional Motorola design with thicker bezels. Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play measure 9.1 mm and 9.0 mm thick and weigh 188 grams.
The new Moto G8 Plus sports 6.3 inches FHD+ MAX VISION display and Moto G8 Play sports 6.2 inches HD+ MAX VISION display. The Moto E6 Play comes with a smaller 5.5 inches HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display.
The Moto G8 Plus is powered by SD665 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage whereas the Moto G8 Play & Moto E6 Play with MediaTek Helio P70M coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Both the devices do support microSD card slot. It also features Splash resistant IPX2. The Moto G8 Plus comes with Dolby Atmos Dual Stereo speakers.
The new Moto G8 Plus & Moto G8 Play features triple rear cameras with LED flash. The new Moto G8 Plus arrives with 48MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.79 coupled with f/2.2 aperture Action Camera with FOV 117 ° ultra-wide lens and 5MP depth sensor. The new Moto G8 Play arrives with 13MP main sensor with an aperture of f/2.0, 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and 8MP (f/2.2) Action Camera with FOV 117 ° ultra-wide lens. The Moto G8 Plus can shoot 4K videos at 30 fps. The Moto E6 Play features 13MP main sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 with LED flash and 5MP selfie shooter.
The Moto G8 Plus & Moto G8 Play features 25MP f/2.0 aperture and 8MP selfie camera respectively with Face Unlock option. The new Moto G8 Plus, Moto E6 Play & Moto G8 Play will arrive with the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The new Moto G8 Plus, Moto E6 Play & Moto G8 Play comes with Dual SIM Dual 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2 (Play), Bluetooth 5.0 (Plus), A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack, NFC (Plus) and FM Radio.
The new Moto G8 Plus, Moto E6 Play & Moto G8 Play runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. The Moto G8 Plus & Moto G8 Play packs 4000 mAh battery with 15W Turbo Power fast charging support (Plus). The Moto E6 Play packs lower 3000 mAh battery with 5W charger.
