Earlier we had seen Samsung being launching few tablets both under mid-range and flagship segments. Now LG is all set to follow the suit and launch two new tablets with LG G Pad 8 & LG G Pad 5.
As per the source, the new LG G Pad 8 will feature traditional tablet design with thicker bezels on the top and bottom of the device. The LG G Pad 8 will arrive with metal unibody design with a single rear camera. On the bottom of the device we have the USB Type-C port along with speaker mesh on either side.
The LG G Pad 8 will feature 8MP rear camera along with 5MP selfie shooter. The new LG G Pad 8 will sport 8.0 inches display and packs larger 8200 mAh battery. Sadly, no details about processor and storage options but the LG G Pad 8 pricing might start from $367 (Rs.26,000/-).
Further, we also spotted the LG G Pad 5 probably the cheaper variant of the LG G Pad 8 on Geekbench. As per the listing, the new LG G Pad 5 listed as LG LM-T600 which further disappoints as it comes with SD821 SoC which is almost two-years-old. It is coupled with 4GB RAM and runs on Android 9 Pie.
The LG G Pad 5 managed to score 909 under multi-core and 347 under single-core test which is as expected. As per leaks, the LG G Pad 5 will sport 10.1 inches FHD display. The connectivity option includes Bluetooth 4.2, Wifi, A-GPS, 4G LTE, USB Type-C port, microSD card slot and 3.5 mm audio jack.
