Earlier we saw Xiaomi teasing the cheapest budget smartphone with Redmi 8A which was launched in India yesterday. Now Xiaomi India Head Manu Jain has started teasing the successor to Redmi 7 with Redmi 8.
As per the video, we can see Manu Jain holding two devices one turns out to be the Redmi 8 with Dual rear cameras and fingerprint scanner. The Redmi 8 looks similar to Redmi 8 but comes with additional black strap on the back. Again the Redmi 8 comes with a polycarbonate back with a glossy finish.
The new Redmi 8 is all set to launch in China on Oct 1 and later will land in India sometime next month. The new Redmi 8 will arrive with 48MP primary sensor and will be powered by same SD439 SoC as the Redmi 8A.
