After tons of leaks and rumours about the new Galaxy A50s & Galaxy A30s Samsung officially announced it. The new Galaxy A50s & Galaxy A30s will come in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Green and Prism Crush Violet colours. Sadly, Samsung has not revealed the pricing and availability details.
The new Samsung Galaxy A50s & Galaxy A30s comes with the same set of internals as the original with Galaxy A50 & Galaxy A30s but gets a better camera and some additional features. The new Samsung Galaxy A50s & Galaxy A30s features polycarbonate back with new prism-like texture which gives a premium feel to the device. The Samsung Galaxy A50s & Galaxy A30s measures 7.7 mm and 7.8 mm thick and weighs 169 grams and 166 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy A50s & Galaxy A30s sports 6.4 inches Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display & HD+ Infinity-V Super AMOLED display respectively. The new Samsung Galaxy A50s is powered by same Exynos 9610 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options whereas the Samsung Galaxy A30s with Exynos 7904 coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage options.
Both the devices do come with microSD card slot for further storage expansion. The new Samsung Galaxy A50s & Samsung Galaxy A30s feature triple rear cameras with LED flash. The Samsung Galaxy A50s features 48MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 whereas the Samsung Galaxy A30s with 25MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.7. Both the device comes with the same 5MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and 8MP Ultra-wide angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2.
The new Samsung Galaxy A50s comes with 32MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 and Samsung Galaxy A30s with 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. This is the first time Samsung Galaxy A30s features the new in-display fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity option for Samsung Galaxy A50s & Samsung Galaxy A30s includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio, and USB Type-C port. Samsung Galaxy A50s & Samsung Galaxy A30s packs 4000 mAh battery along with 15W fast charging support. Both the devices run on Android 9 Pie with One UI on top.
