Reliance held the 42nd annual general meeting at Mumbai where the company celebrated three successful years of its telecom company Jio. During the AGM meet Reliance announced its very first broadband service with JioFiber.
Yes, finally Reliance Jio has officially announced the JioFiber which will begin to roll out to everyone starting from Sept 5. The new JioFiber plans starts from as low as Rs.700/- for 100 MBps and goes way high at Rs.10000/- per month for 1GBps. All the details about the plans will be unveiled on Sept 5.
Further, the new JioFiber will offer free voice calls across India as it comes with a free landline connection. User can also get unlimited voice calls to US and Canada for the plan of Rs.500 per month. Not just that JioFiber users will also get free OTT content from leading brands like Hotstar, Netflix etc and JioFiber Platinum users will get chance to watch the latest movies on the same day as released on theatre with Jio First Day First Show. The Jio First Day First Show will be going live from mid-2020.
Further, JioFiber will also come with new Jio Fiber Welcome Offer that will provide free HD Ready/4K LED TV depending upon the plan and a 4K set-top-box absolutely free. The new Jio Set-top box will also offer 4K multi-player online gaming with support for almost all gaming controllers. Jio has also partnered with Microsoft, Tencent Games, Gameloft, RIOT Games, Milestone for gaming titles.
