Earlier we saw Huawei taking a dig at the Realme X and Redmi K20 with their pricing and now they have finally launched the first pop-up-selfie phone with Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 in India. The new Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 comes in Emerald Green and Sapphire Blue colours. It will go on sale from August 7 via Amazon and all other leading offline outlets from August 5.
Currently, those who purchase the device from offline retail outlets will get the Huawei Sport BT headphones and 15600 mAh power bank for free. The new Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is priced at Rs.15,990/- in India. The launch offers include No Cost EMI, additional Rs.1500 on an exchange, flat Rs.500/- cashback on Amazon Pay, 10% instant discount for SBI card users and Jio users will get additional 125GB 4G data on recharge of Rs.199/Rs.299 plan.
Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 has almost similar specs as the Huawei P Smart Z but comes with an additional camera on the back and larger 128GB storage space. Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 has the same design as the Huawei P Smart Z with all-display front and pop-up selfie camera. It measures 8.8 mm thick and weighs 196.8 grams.
The new Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 comes in three colours with Blue, Black and Green. It sports 6.59 inches FHD+ 19.5:9 Ultra Full-View display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The new HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019 is powered by the new Kirin 710F SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. It comes with 128GB internal storage with an option to expand storage via microSD card slot.
The new HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019 features triple rear cameras with 16MP (f/1.8) main sensor along with 2MP (f/2.4) secondary and 8MP Ultra-wide sensor along with LED flash. There is 16MP pop-up selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 54.2 LE, A-GPS, GLONASS, fingerprint scanner, NFC, USB Type-C port.
The new HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019 packs 4000 mAh battery. It runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top.
