Earlier last week we saw Google announcing the official name for the next iteration of Android as Android 10. This is the first time Google is ditching the traditional dessert naming and keeping a simple name Android 10. Anyway, now we have finally got the official launch date for the new Android 10 update.
As per the source, one of the Google Pixel 3a users had asked about the Android 10 update release date to Google Support agents. To which the Agents replied stating that Android 10 will start rolling out to Pixel devices right from Sept 3. It’s not by just a single user the other user too asked the same question and got the same reply.
So we can expect the Google to announce the Android 10 later next week and start rolling out from Sept 3. Sadly, the first set of devices to receive the Android 10 update will be limited to Google Pixel devices from Pixel 2/2XL to Pixel 3/3XL.
Apart from that, Samsung is now rolling out a new update to its latest device under M-series with Galaxy M40. The new update weighs around 336 MB in size and comes with build number M405FDDU1ASH1. As per the source, the new update is being rolled only in India.
The new M405FDDU1ASH1 update will add a dedicated Night mode which we saw with the Galaxy S10 series. Apart from that, Samsung has also added the QR scanner feature on the camera app that can scan the QR code directly without the need of a third-party app. Lastly, the update also adds the latest August month Security patch.
