Earlier we saw Xiaomi planning to launch two new devices with 64MP and 108MP cameras. Now we have got some new unknown device fromRedmi getting certified through TENAA in China. As per the listing, the new Redmi smartphone is listed as Redmi M1908C3IC.
As per the source, the new Redmi M1908C3IC. might be the upcoming Redmi 8 which is expected to launch later this year. From the front, the alleged Redmi 8 looks similar to Resmi 7 with 6.27 inches waterdrop notch and minimal bezels. Ont he back, the new Redmi 8 comes with a new design featuring Dual rear cameras with LED flash and fingerprint scanner.
This time the alleged Redmi M1908C3IC aka Redmi 8 might have polycarbonate back with a glossy finish. Sadly, no details about the specs of the alleged Redmi 8 is leaked at the moment but the device will still feature 10W charging support. Further, the TENAA listing reveals the device will pack 5000 mAh battery and measures 9.4 mm thick.
Further, TENAA has now updated with detailed specs for the alleged Redmi 8. As per the listing, the new Redmi 8 will sport 6.21 inches HD+ display with a resolution of 1520*720p. The new Redmi 8 is powered by 2.0 GHz clocked unknown Octa-core processor coupled with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB storage.
The alleged Redmi 8 features 12MP primary rear camera with LED flash along with 8Mp selfie camera. It runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
