Earlier we had few rumours about Xiaomi to relaunch the China-exclusive smartphone Xiaomi Mi CC9 & CC9e as Mi A3 & Mi A3 Lite for Global markets. Later we also got to know that it will look alike Xiaomi Mi CC series but will come with upgraded specs.
Now finally, Xiaomi has started teasing the new Android One Phone for this year with Xiaomi Mi A3 series. The new teaser teases the upcoming Mi A series as #PhotosWithoutLimits which indirectly confirms that it could be great camera smartphone. As expected the Mi A2Â was also a great camera phone under the mid-range segment we will not be surprised if Mi A3 to feature great pair of cameras.
Apart from that, the other teaser teases that the Mi A3 will come with a great set of both selfie and rear cameras. Further, the device might come with a dedicated button for Google Assistant. As per leaks, the Mi A3 is expected to ship with SD730 SoC.
Further, we have some leaks about the new Mi A3 which suggest that the device would be recently launched Xiaomi Mi CC9e. Yes, as per the source, the new Mi A3 will not be powered by SD730 SoC instead will come with SD665 SoC and will look similar to Xiaomi Mi CC9e. Sadly, there is no info whether there will be any model of Xiaomi Mi CC9 yet.
Further, the source confirms that the new Mi A3 with 4GB+64GB will sell at a price tag of $199 (Rs.13,700/-) in Global markets which are lower than the predecessor which landed in India for whopping Rs.16,999/-.
Apart from that, we also got the official press renders along with detailed specs leaked for the upcoming Xiaomi Mi A3. The popular tipster has now revealed the new Mi A3 which looks exactly similar to Xiaomi Mi CC9 and comes with only change as Stock Android OS.
The source is not sure about the exact specs as it says the company might alter some of the specs of Mi A3 when compared with China launched Xiaomi CC9 series. But from the image, we can confirm that the new Mi A3 will sport 6.0 inches FHD+ AMOLED dewdrop display.
Xiaomi might now use the SD665 SoC on the Mi A3 instead of SD710 SoC which was originally powering the Xiaomi Mi CC9. It comes with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. For the first time, Xiaomi Mi A3 will include a microSD card slot.
The new Xiaomi Mi A3 will feature 32MP selfie shooter and triple rear cameras with 48MP Sony IMX586 having an aperture of f/1.79. It will feature secondary 8MP and finally the 2MP depth sensor with LED flash. It might come with PDAF or Laser AF or any other premium AF tech. The device will pack 4000 mAh battery with USB Type-C port on the bottom.
